Fireplace TV Mounting in Denver

Half the living rooms in Colorado put the fireplace on the best wall in the house, so that is where the TV wants to go. The job has two hard parts: anchors that grip masonry permanently, and enough clearance that rising heat never cooks the panel. We verify both before the drill comes out.

Television installed above a fireplace mantel with a soundbar beneath it

How we do it

Clearance before anything

Firebox type, mantel depth, and heat path get checked first. If the spot would shorten your TV’s life, we tell you and work out a better one.

Anchors matched to the masonry

Sleeve anchors in brick faces, epoxy in stone, never a plastic plug and never the mortar joint.

Dust-free stone and tile drilling

Diamond bits at low speed with a vacuum shroud on the hole, and drop cloths over the hearth before we start.

One small add-on

Over-fireplace work adds $30 to the size-based labor. Brick adds $35, uneven stone or tile $50. Those numbers are the entire surcharge.

What it costs

Flat pricing, no surprises

Every option is a flat number. Enter your ZIP in the booking widget and watch your exact total build as you answer a few quick questions.

FAQ

Fireplace Mounting questions

Is a TV over the fireplace actually safe?

Usually, yes: gas inserts with a projecting mantel push heat away from the wall above. Open wood-burning boxes with no mantel are the risky case, and if yours is one we will say so before drilling.

What does an over-fireplace install run?

Labor by TV size plus $30 for the fireplace position, plus the surface: brick +$35, uneven stone or tile +$50. A 65-inch on a brick surround comes to $119 + $30 + $35.

Can wires hide inside a stone wall?

Not through the masonry itself. Where there is adjacent drywall we fish through that; otherwise a slim paintable channel for $25 keeps the run tidy.

Will the TV end up too high to watch?

We set height from your actual seating distance and the lowest position your mantel allows, not from a chart.
